Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Equivoice Communications is an enhanced service provider specializing in communication solutions for the enterprise market. A pioneer in the field, Equivoice has provided innovative, fully converged solutions to companies since 1996.
The idea of a fully converged enhanced communications service provider was first developed in 1994, when founder Marcus McEwen began offering fully converged international voice and data networks to service providers and enterprise clients. Six years later, Equivoice had VoIP nodes in ten countries on four different continents.
In 2001, Scott Grau joined Equivoice as Chief Technology Officer. The co-holder of a U.S. Patent for a method of transmitting packetized voice over data, Scott applied his extensive technical experience to Equivoice’s existing network to help develop a platform to introduce state-of-the-art Unified Communications Systems to enterprise clients.
A corporate communications network consists of a multitude of hard- and software equipment and applications, including phone systems, cabling, data switches, voice mail, fax, email and web servers, routers, phone and data lines, and wireless access points. Equivoice understands the complexities of modern business, and our Unified Communications system can provide a flexible, expandable platform that supports your business processes.
Equivoice is the industry leader in the deployment of converged networks. Voice over IP is now standard for any forward-thinking company; Equivoice has installed and maintained both domestic and international IP Telephony networks for over a decade.
In 1996, Equivoice implemented a global IP converged network with nodes in ten countries on four continents. Converting the technology into a Unified Communications service platform in 2003, we helped pioneer Hosted IP Telephony and became one of the first providers of Unified Communications private cloud services.
Our highly-trained and experienced staff partners with clients in the United States as well as operations in Asia, Europe and South America. The Equivoice network truly has global reach.
