Equivoice clients can save money by using their EQUI-T1 for voice communication. Clients can connect their exiting phone system to the EQUI-T1 without any expensive upgrades. This can save money on usage and connections.
The phone system is connected to the Internet through the onsite router. The router is upgraded so that it provides a T-1, PRI, or analog interface to the phone system. The phone system is connected to the router exactly the same way it would be to a central office facility. There are no special interfaces needed on the PBX.
The router converts the voice calls to IP packets that are sent over the EQUI-T1 to Equivoice's voice access servers in its network center. The access servers convert the IP packets to voice and send the calls over the public telephone network. Calls sent from the public network to the phone system follow the reverse patter.
The voice packets are sent over the same network as the data packets. The Equivoice network prioritizes the voice packets over the data packets. This insures high quality voice.. The bandwidth is allocated dynamically for more efficient utilization.
Equivoice is an authorized CLEC. Our VoIP T-1 offers inbound and out bound local service, long distance calling, toll free service and international calling. Our integrated PRI is fully featured including calling party display and E-911 compatibility. This gives you a complete package of services on our integrated service.
