Connectivity Options
T1
Equivoice offers a superior T1 service that is optimized for voice and data. Multiple T1s can be bonded together to meet high bandwidth requirements.
T3
The Equivoice T3 service is equivalent to 28 T1s. A T3 can be used to support high a variety of high bandwidth applications.
OPT-E-MAN
OPT-E-MAN is a switched Ethernet service that connects your LANs within the same metropolitan area with flexible bandwidth options from 5 Mbps to 1 Gbps. It provides a fully managed service that uses optical transport and builds on the strengths of our network with Cisco equipment to provide you with scalable optical service within the metropolitan area.
OPT-E-MAN supports many transport data configurations (point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to- multipoint). It uses physical and virtual connections to satisfy your specific business requirements.
With OPT-E-MAN you are offered the ability to have multiple locations communicate with each other using a pure Ethernet solution, which supports many different types of business applications.
OPT-E-MAN service is available in two standard interfaces:
- 10/100 Mbps Base T - a copper handoff with a bandwidth limitation of 100 Mbps.
- 1 Gbps Ethernet (1000 Base SX, 1000 Base LX/LH or 1000 Base ZX) - a fiber handoff with a bandwidth limitation of 1 Gbps.
With OPT-E-MAN, you get:
- Basic/Basic Plus Connection (Port, Transport, and Interface - 10/100Mbps or 1Gbps)
- Committed Information Rate (CIR) options (5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, & 1000Mbps)
- EVC(s) ranging from 5-1000Mbps (Zero Rated)
- 50 Additional Media Access Control (MAC) Addresses - Maximum of 100 per port
- Repeater (if distance limitations require)
- High-speed Ethernet transport ranging from 5 Mbps to 1 Gbps
- Distances of up to 50km.
- The benefit of using Ethernet LAN packets that runs over optical fiber to the Internet or your network.
- A Cisco powered network.
- Carrier class features (low latency, rate limiting, recovery and resiliency)
Wireless
Equivoice offers a licensed frequency wireless service with speeds up to 20mbs. The service runs on a Cisco based network and provides full QOS support for voice, data and video.
Wireless can be used as a primary connection or as a disaster backup. It is also excellent for quick implementations.
